The eighth season of the married with children was premiered on September 5, 1993, and the last episode of the series was aired on May 22, 1994. This season of the series had twenty six episodes in it. During this season Gerry Cohen, who has been directing the episodes of the series since season one was missing. He directed only last few episodes of the season; most of the episodes were directed by Tony Singletary, while a few were directed by Sam W. Orender and Amanda Bearse. The main highlight of this season was Al. A lot was done to bring him in focus and a lot of his friends were introduced in this season. They included Aaron, Bob Rooney and Officer Dan. Al and his friends became members of NO MA’AM in one of the episodes. In this season Bud also became member of a fraternity.
