The fourth season of the married with children was premiered on September 3, 1989 and the last episode of the season was aired on May 13, 1990. The fourth season of the series had twenty three episodes in it. All the episodes of this season were directed by Gerry Cohen, except for the fifteenth episode Rock and Roll Girl that was directed by Linda Day. This season marks a major a shift when Marcy’s husband (played by David Garrison) leaves the show.
In the series we are told that he has left Marcy and his home in order to pursue his dream of being a forest ranger. In this season Tiffany-Amber Thiessen, makes a guest appearance in the episode named ‘What Goes Around Comes Around’
