The second season of the married with children was premiered on September 27, 1987. The second season of the series had twenty two episodes in it. The second season of the series began with a two part episode. In the first part of the episode, the Bundys decide to go on a holiday to a nearby beautiful Dumpwater, Florida, where the family decides to stay in a cut-rate motel. The thing that is in air about the motel is that every five years murderer who hates tourists shows up in the motel to kill someone or the other. The local people are busy making guesses on who the psycho killer will attack this time. In the second episode that is a continuation of the previous one, after an encounter with the killer, Al decides to take his family back home. Just when they are about to leave storm hits the place and stops them from leaving the place. The family is desperate to leave the place and they ask for help from the local people but no one is ready to help them. Soon afterwards, Peg is kidnapped by the psycho killer and Al must do something to save his beloved wife. In the next episode, Steve invites Al at the vault of the bank where Steve works in order to play a game of cards. Everything gets smooth but the very next day, it is reported that one million dollars have been stolen from the bank. Peggy and kids think that it is Al who has stolen the money, so that they can be rich. Under this misconception, they start pampering him and also start treating him like a king.
On the other side Steve and Marcy grow hostile towards him, as they are also under the impression that he has stolen the money. In the next episode, all the neighbors are sick of the Bundy’s dog after he impregnates their bitches. The neighbors go to the extent of threatening Al that they will sue him, if his dog mates with their bitches. After pressure from Peg, Al decides to have Buck neutered. But he soon changes his mind after he dreams about the self-loathing, non-monogamous stud that Buck is. He then decides not to get his dog neutered. The next episode of the series is also divided into two parts. In the first part of the episode, when Steve and Marcy’s refrigerator is crashes they call someone to repair it. It turns out that the repairperson is a sexy woman. Al and Steve get too occupied with the sexy lady, which becomes a reason for fight between Marcy and Steve. After a heated argument Marcy decides to be with Peg and accompanies her to a strip club with other girls. Unfortunately, to make matters worse Marcy loses her wedding ring at the club. In the next part of the episode, Marcy is feeling guilty about having lost her ring at a bar. So she tries to hide it from Steve, and also distracts him when ever she can in order to avoid the topic. However, Zorro the stripper gets back to Al’s place and returns Marcy’s ring to Al. Al then gives it to Steve, and tells him where his wife was the other night.
